This workshop covers the different post secondary options available in an objective way to alleviate pressure of the decision making process. We cover the pros and cons of taking a gap year, entering workforce, and attending college or university. We also touch on different career paths leading to similar positions and provide advice on how to finance your post-secondary education.
LANDING THE JOB
This workshop covers in detail tips and tricks for each of the different stages of getting a job including: how to build a resume, how to tailor their previous experience to a job posting, writing a cover letter and how to make a positive impression in an interview.
STEPPING INTO THE FUTURE
A workshop that covers the basic skills that help youth increase their independence and ability to self-manage. This includes the basics of setting achievable goals to attain success. (SMART model) as well as time management and prioritization.
